  • Colorprint™ Solvent Clear Matte, with a matte finish, and Colorprint™ Solvent Clear Gloss, with gloss finish are clear transparent polyurethane films. These are printed with mirror images on the hot-melt adhesive side of the film providing a solid polyurethane barrier between the ink and the environment. These clear films are designed for use with white and light colored cotton, polyester, and cotton-polyester blend fabrics. They require a somewhat higher temperature (330° F - 340° F) with firm pressure for 17 seconds.

    Instructions for:CPSC-4626G (Clear Gloss) and CPSC-4625M (Clear Matte)

    ► Create your design in graphics software, such as Corel Draw and mirror the image in the effects menu.

    ► Load your chosen film onto your plotter.

    Always test cut to ensure proper depth, speed and down force.

    Cut in mirror image.

    Place printed, cut, and weeded design onto the textile you wish to transfer to.

    Place a Teflon sheet between the heat platen and the transfer medium to prevent sticking and edge damage to the transferred design.

    ► Heat press between 330° F - 340° F for 17 seconds using firm even pressure.

    ► If the film only partially adheres to the fabric it is usually because insufficient or uneven pressure was applied. If this happens, reposition the design, increase the pressure and repress.

    ► Allow to completely cool. Peel cold.

    ► Cover with included siliconized sheet and reheat for an additional 8 seconds to finish cure.

    ► Note: To ensure greatest durability of digital prints, garments should be turned inside out and wash in cold water without bleach of any type using a gentle wash cycle. Tumble dry low heat

    ► Will adhere to cotton, blended and polyester fabrics. This material is translucent and works only for white and light colored fabrics.
