Roland ESM-HTM2 Opaque Heat Transfer Material
Product Description
Roland’s heat transfer material, HeatSoft™ ESM-HTM2, is a thin heat-sensitive appliqué material for printing with Eco-Sol MAX inks and cutting with Roland cutting devices. This transfer material is lined with a silicone paper release liner with a controlled peel tension to reduce curl and make weeding easy. The product is applied to a garment by lifting it off of its backing liner with a paper-based or synthetic heat transfer mask and applying to a fabric garment. HeatSoft™ ESM-HTM2 is compatible with cotton, poly-blend 50/50 and 100% polyester fabrics. This product will produce brilliant colorful graphics with a white background on light and dark colored garments. The transferred results provide a final product with a soft hand and excellent wearability. This garment transfer material is an opaque white media designed to be print and cut for heat transfer to light or dark garments, either cotton or cotton blend. Finished transfers offer terrific color with good handling, although longevity depends on the quality of the garment as well as post-transfer care. Usage | | | | Heat Transfer Material should be handled with care before and after printing to prevent surface contamination that may spoil the print. The product should be processed in an environment of 65°-85° F (18°-30°C) and 30-70% relative humidity (non-condensing) that is clean and relatively dust-free. Store this product in its original packaging in a cool dry area until ready for processing. If storage conditions are outside the recommended operating ranges, allow the paper to acclimate in the specified range for at least 24-48 hours before use. | | | Applications | | | | Full-color graphics for all types of transfers on light or dark colored cotton or cotton blend garments. This product should be printed right reading as with a standard decal, then placed on the garment to be transfered with a heat press and covered with a Teflon pad for transferring. Recommended time and temperature settings for heat transferring are 4-6 seconds at 325-330° F with a silica sheet or 8-10 seconds with a Teflon pad (we do not recommend using standard transfer tape). Transfers are as durable as post-processing care allows, and will break down as the fibers of the garment start to wear. Pigment and mild solvent inks are recommended for extended durability and longevity. | **all rolls come in 24" , 50" widths. Also all rolls are 50' in length.
