Usage

Clear Film should be handled with care to prevent surface contamination that may spoil the print. Additionally, the media should be inspected for surface defects or irregularities or any debris and cleaned with a soft, lint free cloth before printing if necessary. This material should be processed in an environment of 65°-85° F (18°C-30° C) and 30-70% relative humidity (non-condensing) that is clean and relatively dust-free. Also, some media are affixed strongly to the core and care should be taken to avoid machine issues due to the non-release of media at the end of the roll. Store this product in its original packaging in a cool dry area until ready for processing. If storage conditions are outside the recommended operating ranges, allow the banner material to acclimate in the specified range for at least 24-48 hours before use.

Applications

Full-color graphics for indoor applications such as clear overlays, architectural graphics, and other specialty graphic applications. It is water-resistant once printed, but care should be taken in handling the film post-processing. If mounting, the film should be mounted with a high-quality pressure-sensitive mounting adhesive (that is tested before actual application). A high-quality pressure-sensitive overlaminate film can be used if necessary. Liquid laminates can be used, but solvent types are not recommended at all.
